Thank you for attending
The Australia & New Zealand Education Law Association would like to thank participants who attended the 26th Annual ANZELA Conference "Education for a Safe World."
The Australia & New Zealand Education Law Association (ANZELA) was established in 1991 with the aim of bringing together academics, legal practitioners, educators and others who have an association with and/or interest in education law and the legal issues affecting education.
One of the primary goals of the organisation is to promote and encourage research, study, discussions, writing and/or dissemination of information about issues on laws relating to education, by organising and participating in conferences and meetings on the laws relating to education and their implementation.
The 26th Annual Conference, "Education for a Safe World", was held in Sydney from 3 - 5 October 2017, and provided delegates an opportunity to share the issues, struggles, successes and insights that striving for a safe educational world produces. Practitioners and theorists alike presented their thoughts and experiences to the Conference attendees. As well as papers, panel sessions and scenarios allowed for question and answer interactions to deliver a highly successful Conference.
Attendees included teachers, University academics, Lawyers in both private practice and the public sector, administrators, those involved in policy formation, union officers and representatives of employer bodies who all share a common interest in how the law impacts on the delivery of, and outcomes from, education.
ANZELA, with the support of our sponsors, would like to thank everyone for attending the 2017 ANZELA Conference.
